My prom was absolutely amazing. Aside from the fact that it was about 52, pouring rain, and windy, the whole thing rocked. All my friends came over to my house to take pictures and then we headed down to a little Italian restaraunt. The atmosphere was beautiful, and it looked just like I had pictured it being for prom. Definately felt like I was in Italy and I could walk out into a vineyard. The actual prom was so much fun, and if I do say so myself (which I do
So I've seen a few movies lately, one being awesome, the other sucking it up. The first one was The DaVinci Code. Now to everyone out there who refuses to go just because of the ideas it presents, I am telling you right now to go, just because it was a great movie. I am a strong Christian, and my beliefs were not rocked at all. I was kept on my seat throughout the whole movie, and the cast lineup was amazing. The other movie I am talking about is X-Men 3. This one was only mediocre. Actually, it was really bad, I will just say it. So many parts of it were predictable and cheesy. I actually can't recall how many times I laughed out loud, it was that bad. Not even the previews were cool. My friend told me that the Eragon preview would be on, and it wasn't, so that sucked. Anyway, one must take the good with the bad I guess.
I've also gotten a couple new CDs, which makes me terribly proud, as I never EVER get music...ever. Not even burned, I just deal with my old ones, or the radio. Anyhoo, the CDs I bought were Shakira: Oral Fixation, Volume 2. Now, those of you who really know me know that I love a good latin beat, and that my current favorite song is "Hips Don't Lie". The whole CD is great, especially for those who like Latin. I also got the Panic! At the Disco, which let's just say kicks arse. It's got a mix of club with old music that makes me think of 1930s Paris. Very cool tracks, two of my favorites being "The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide Is Press Coverage" and "I Write Sins Not Tragedies". Very hard to choose a favorite. This could very well replace Green Day as my summer day driving music which brings me to the next subject...
I have a car to drive! Yay! And I just washed it today so it's squeaky clean. My week's excursions include driving to Dunn Bros to school to work to home. And then to the movies. One problem about my sweet tuneage though...it doesn't have a CD player, so my best bud is giving my her old tape adapter. Total freedom has never been better, and my driving restrictions are off now, so party in Jen's car!
Now that I've bored you all to tears, I shall say Ciao! Hasta Luego! Buy the tunes! Have a nice day!
